Summary

Situated in the heart of the city, Nottingham Conference Centre has a variety of modern event spaces and caters for conferences and events of up to 450 guests.

Location

Nottingham Conference Centre is conveniently located in the city centre, within easy reach of the M1 motorway. The venue offers discounted parking close by and it is only a 15 minute walk or short taxi ride from Nottingham Train Station. East Midlands Airport is also just a 30 minute drive away.

First Impressions

The venue is very modern and has a lively atmosphere.

Event Space and Facilities

Perfect for meetings and conferences of up to 450 guests, the dedicated conference centre has a diverse range of spaces ranging from traditional grade II listed rooms to state-of-the-art meeting rooms and lecture theatres. All spaces are air conditioned and feature natural daylight, with city views.

 

Being part of Nottingham Trent University, the venue is often used by students too however the meeting and syndicate rooms have their own floors that are used only for these events.

Our favourite space was the Old Chemistry Theatre which is mainly white inside, features Victoria architecture and looks like a mini chapel. It can host events for up to 150 people and is licensed for weddings, as well as being popular for drinks receptions. It was actually moved brick by brick from its original location.

The largest space, the Central Court and Gallery, is an open and modern area that’s ideal for gala dinners, drinks receptions and exhibitions for up to 500 people.

Food and Service

All delegates have access to breakout spaces with tea, coffee, snacks, juices and water. There is an on-site event catering team and there are a variety of menu options whether you want a hot buffet, light refreshments or a celebration dinner. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and informative.
