Rebecca Carter

General Manager

Being General Manager of Sundial SOS is a great privilege.

I joined Sundial Group over 12 years ago (2003), and over those years have been fortunate enough to gain valuable experience in all aspects of the the hospitality business; from understanding what it takes to run a venue successfully, to finding venues, to delivering excellent client and supplier relationships, to managing and building a strong and happy team.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, two young girls (who give me a lot of different challenges to contend with!) as well as visiting the theatre and enjoying a glass of wine (or two) with my friends!

I started working for SOS in May 2012 after finishing an Event Management degree at Sheffield Hallam University.

I began my career as Venue Finding Consultant and progressed to Account Manager in 2016. I now manage our key accounts from a variety of industry sectors; Food and Beverage, Automotive, Construction and Education.

My role involves venue finding, negotiating multi-year deals, implementing tailored client booking processes and consulting clients in all aspects of their venue finding needs. Florence Bryce

Venue Finding Consultant

Before joining Sundial SOS in April 2018 I had previously always worked in the travel industry so events is a new and exciting challenge for me.

My key responsibilities include working closely with our clients to source venues for a variety of different events, building relationships with both national and international venues, negotiating industry rates and assisting with the business development of SOS. In my free time I can either be found in the yoga studio, exploring the beautiful English countryside on my bike or with friends enjoying a G&T!

Sean Coxon

Client Engagement Manager

My work with Sundial SOS brings me into contact with a wide range of businesses and interesting people. Whether it’s a creative marketing conference, Learning & Development Programme or a special event there is always a unique set of requirements for each customer.

While I don’t get directly involved in venue finding it’s my role to find those that need our help so that I can introduce them to our fabulous team.

When I am not working I am usually found doing something adventurous. I love obstacle racing which generally involves running, getting wet, muddy, cold, climbing or jumping over stuff and basically being a big kid.  I love the gym and bootcamp but I am equally at home with my feet up, beer in hand watching rugby, cricket or football.

Gemma Wiggins

Business Development Manager

At Sundial SOS I love learning all about our clients events right down to the last detail. This helps so much to make sure we are proposing venues to match our clients vision and brand image. I really enjoy meeting clients face to face, whether at our first meeting or viewing hotels and venues to ensure we have found the right solution.

Outside of work I can be found running around after my young son and daughter, and enjoy spending time with family and friends. I love baking cakes, but tend to eat too many and really should go running more often!
